Classes and Workshops

I teach classes and workshops on a number of topics, most of then related to herbs, plants, and/or healing. My passion and commitment as a teacher is for you to learn what you can use in your life and for you to be an educated consumer and user of herbs and products.

I focus on sustainable, affordable, easily-obtained ingredients and products, so that you can take your health and your healthcare into your own hands.

Registration information is given in the calendar listing for each class.  A number of my workshops are one-day events where you learn a lot, and often make something to take home with you!

My multi-week classes also have a make-and-take component.

I teach monthly classes at The Healing Center in Beverly, MA. The first Thursday of the month is a class on an aspect of herbalism and/or wild plants. The third Thursday of the month is my Plant Ally Shamanic Study Group, where you can learn about the plants that interest you or with which you feel particularly connected.

From April to October I lead Urban Foraging Rambles in downtown Beverly, to show that useful, edible, and medicinal plants grow everywhere, even in the heart of the city!

Some classes and workshops are taught through organizations such as Boston Center for Adult Education or North Shore Community College and there is a class fee.

When I teach classes and workshops I want you, the student or attendee, to learn a lot, so I share a lot of information and handouts.

I do my best to have students involved in product-making when that is part of the workshop or class.

Hope to see you in class!
